  • Plan and lead some patrol meeting and activities.
  • Keep your patrol members informed.
  • Give each member some specific task whenever possible.
  • Represent your patrol at the Patrol Leaders' Forum, or Patrol Leaders' Council as it used to be called.
  • Prepare the patrol to participate in all Troop activities.
  • Encouraging teamwork in the patrol.
  • Work with other Leaders to make your troop run well.
  • Help to maintain good behaviour.
  • Know the abilities of each of your members.
  • Caring for patrol members.
  • Set a good example.
  • Wear the Scout Uniform correctly.
