• Help run all troop meetings, events, and activities.

• Runs the Patrol Leaders' Forum, or Patrol Leaders' Council as it used to be called.

• Assigns duties and responsibilities to Patrol leaders

• Assists the Scout Leader with Patrol leader training.

• Sets a good example.

• Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly.

• Lives by the Scout Promise and Law.

• Holds the Scout Flag during investitures.
